Inherently flame retardant fabrics

BBN FABRICS inherent flame retardant (IFR) fabrics are engineered with Kermel® and aramid fibres — flame resistance is built into the molecular structure of the fibre, so protection never washes out or wears away.

The fundamental characteristics of the fabric ensure long-term durability, while its composition delivers maximum comfort and breathability even in the hottest environments and climates. Our IFR range combines heat and flame resistance with antistatic and electric arc protection, making it the right choice for welding, foundries, utilities and heavy industry.

K-Flame Pro

Produced with modacrylic fibre to combine efficiency and performance, available in three weights: 175, 265 and 320 g/m². The 320 g/m² version provides the highest class of protection against welding, aluminium and equivalent molten metals, plus antistatic and electric arc protection. Available in high-visibility yellow or with chemical splash protection, and in a laminated version.
